Press Kit

Hey, thanks for considering The FlipSide. Here’s the scoop. We’re a five-piece, Cleveland-based folk rock group of singer-songwriter-musicians who formed from a community of seasoned musicians in 2004, and have been gigging throughout the Midwest since then. We’re not the next big (egotistical) thing. You’ll find we just have a knack for crisp vocal harmonies, and for showing your customers — festival attendees, party-goers, coffee shop patrons, etc. — a good time.

COVID-19 Statement

The FlipSide cares about our fans! We are all healthy, thank God, and will all be fully vaccinated and rehearsed for shows starting in June 2021. We strongly encourage our venues, and rely heavily on them, to follow CDC guidance and follow government authorities’ laws to keep their patrons safe.

The FlipSide is a vocal music band. Singing is known to transmit airborne viruses. Vaccines have not (yet) been shown to prevent transmission of COVID-19 and its variants. For all these reasons, until the region reaches herd immunity, we will sing without masks, only when we’re outdoors or in venues with air-quality enhancements (ex: high-volume ventilation, either from outdoors or certified HEPA-filtered).
